If you're interested in bidding for a Methods conference, please prepare a pitch (for example as a powerpoint or a screencast with audio/video) which includes info on the following:
- when do you want "your" conference to take place?
- include info on "rivaling" conferences at the same time
- if alternative dates are avilable, include those
- where exactly do you want to host (conference venue, campus info, etc.)?
- give info on rooms, venue, etc.
- is the place easily accessible (internationally)?
- who are the local organisers?
- what will the conference fee be (approximately)?
- what will be included in the conference fee?
- which meals are included?
- how expensive is accommodation?
- are there different rate types (e.g. for young scholars vs. professors)?
- what's the envisioned social programme?
- will there be financial support (your uni, grants, external funding, …)?
The steering committee is accepting bids for the next two conferences (current schedule: 2026 and 2029).
